Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Speech2Doc (the "Software"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must not download, install, or use the Software.
These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you ("User", "you") and SADHGURUSYNAPSE SOLUTIONS LLP("Company", "we", "us", "our").
License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, the Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use Speech2Doc on one (1) device that you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business purposes. The license is bound to the hardware of the device on which it is first activated. Hardware replacements may require contacting support to transfer your license.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Software
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or transfer the Software or license key to any third party
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Software
- Use the Software for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Free Trial
Speech2Doc offers a 7-day free trial that activates automatically on first launch — no credit card or payment information is required to begin the trial. The trial grants access to full Software functionality. Upon expiry of the trial period, continued use of the Software requires the purchase of a valid license. The trial is intended to allow you to fully evaluate the Software before making a purchase decision. All purchases are processed by Dodo Payments acting as Merchant of Record and authorised reseller, who handles billing, invoicing, and sales tax.
Processing Modes and Data Responsibility
Speech2Doc operates in two distinct processing modes:
Offline Mode (Default)
All speech recognition and document generation is performed entirely on your local device using bundled AI models. No audio, transcript, or document data is transmitted to any external server. No internet connection is required for processing.
Cloud Mode (User-Configured, Optional)
You may optionally configure Speech2Doc to connect to a third-party cloud AI provider using API credentials you supply. In Cloud Mode, transcribed text is transmitted to the provider you designate. You are solely responsible for your use of any third-party cloud service, including compliance with its terms, privacy policy, and any applicable data regulations. The Company does not receive, process, or store any data transmitted in Cloud Mode.
Third-Party Open Source Components
Speech2Doc incorporates the following third-party components. These run locally on your device and do not transmit any data to their respective developers or licensors.

Gemma Compliance Notice (required by Gemma Terms of Use, Section 3.1)
T5Gemma is provided under and subject to the Gemma Terms of Use at ai.google.dev/gemma/terms. By using Speech2Doc, you agree that your use of T5Gemma is also subject to the Gemma Prohibited Use Policy, which prohibits uses including but not limited to: generating content that sexualizes minors, facilitating attacks on critical infrastructure, creating malware or cyberweapons, generating disinformation to undermine elections, or any other use prohibited under that policy. This restriction is an enforceable condition of your use of this Software.
AI-generated output is provided for informational purposes only. The Company makes no warranty as to its accuracy or fitness for any professional, legal, or business purpose. All generated documents should be reviewed before use.
License Activation and Internet Connectivity
An internet connection is required for the following limited purposes only: (a) license key activation and periodic reactivation (every 90 days, with a 7-day advance warning); (b) downloading software updates; (c) downloading the required AI model files during installation (~2 GB total, one-time); and (d) if you choose to use Cloud Mode. During activation, the Software transmits your license key and a device identifier to our license server solely to verify authenticity and enforce single-device usage restrictions. This data is not used for any other purpose.
Intellectual Property
Speech2Doc, including all source code, binaries, user interface elements, documentation, branding, and trade dress, is the exclusive property of SADHGURUSYNAPSE SOLUTIONS LLP and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved. Your use of the Software does not transfer any ownership rights to you.
Updates and Version Changes
Your license includes all minor updates and bug fixes released within the major version you purchased. The Company reserves the right to release new major versions as separate commercial products. We may modify, deprecate, or discontinue features of the Software at any time with reasonable notice. Continued use of the Software after an update constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms published at the time of the update.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. AI-GENERATED OUTPUT IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND SHOULD BE REVIEWED BEFORE USE IN ANY PROFESSIONAL CONTEXT.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SADHGURUSYNAPSE SOLUTIONS LLP, ITS PARTNERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE LICENSE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Termination
These Terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically without notice if you breach any provision. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession. The Company may also revoke your license key remotely in the event of a confirmed breach. Sections 7, 9, 10, and 12 shall survive termination.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Software shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
